background / experience / Vision /

Mira developed a passion for architecture and urban planning while in high school, inspired by her mentor who showed her it was feasible to bring about positive change in her community through strategic design and planning. She was captivated with how the structures around us could shape the way we live. She’s currently in her final year pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Architecture at Bohol Island State University, where she also serves as a student leader. To gain further insight into architecture outside of the classroom, she took on an apprenticeship with an architect, contributing to projects from planning to delivery. In 2022, she joined Plusurbia Design.

Mira has over three years of experience drafting, social media, and operations assistant. She was actively involved in developing plans for residential and commercial projects in the private sector. She has also worked with high-level executives from the Philippines, US, and Canada doing administrative work and social media campaigns.

She has experience in 3D modeling, digital illustration, publication design, and graphic design.

Mira believes everyone deserves to live and thrive in places that adapt to their needs, not the other way around. She believes that our designs must respect the past, be aware of the present, and think of the future.
