"Don't just make beautiful places, make sure they work."
Marcos grew up on the Island of Puerto Rico, where he developed his passion for design and architecture. During his college years, he had the opportunity to live in Rio Piedras, where he could experience life in the city on his own and his interest in urban design began. During his years of study and professional work, he worked on several urban mixed-use projects in the San Juan area as well as historic preservation projects in the colonial city of Old San Juan. Marcos joined the Plusurbia team in 2021, where he has worked on various master plans, historic surveys, and design competitions.
