Elena has a Bachelor of Art with a double major in English Literature and Art from the University of Miami. Her graduate work is in Liberal Studies. Additionally, she has extensive coursework in psychology, as well as training and mentorships in Finance with active licenses in life insurance and securities.
Elena has over twenty combined years of experience as a project manager, educator, and administrator. Prior volunteer work includes serving meals to the homeless, teaching life skills to at-risk youth, yoga to inmates in federal prison and at community centers. She presently volunteers bookkeeping services at a human rights non-profit organization.
A good life is about having compassion, adapting and being resilient, striving for balance, freedom, and self-expression. Modeling and practicing for the self and sharing the same to extend to others. Being a strong mental health and social justice advocate is of utmost importance for the betterment of all.
