Her interest in architecture and planning was shaped by the ways these disciplines relate to film, history, psychology, and other fields, and by how they inform spatial experience.

Charisse holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture. She was drawn to the field for its wide scope, intersecting with areas such as film, video games, art, design, photography, and even forensics. It is a profession that never stops evolving, and that range is what keeps her engaged. Since graduating, she has worked in planning, research, and project development with local and international teams.

Charisse has experience working with local and international firms on residential, commercial, and healthcare projects, covering design, planning, technical development, and architectural visualization.

Charisse believes good design should work for the people who use it, not against them. It should be grounded in context, honest about its purpose, built with the long term in mind, and create a sense of fulfillment.
