Bruno Carvalho, ASLA
office director

"Good design not only is important, it is essential to our everyday life."
Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Bruno Carvalho was influenced by the masterful urban landscape designs of Roberto Burle Marx from an early age. As a young Landscape Architect in Miami, Mr. Carvalho began implementing these influences into his practice. Over time, Mr. Carvalho developed his own unique design language, which he now incorporates into his diverse practice. While his projects range greatly in size, scope, location, and complexity, Carvalho looks to provide a unique and meaningful solution to each individual site. Mr. Carvalho works alongside the rest of the PlusUrbia team to ensure that our broader visions have strong fundamental design roots that can be successfully implemented. Mr. Carvalho is a Virginia Tech graduate, a ULI and AICP member, and a registered landscape architect in Florida, Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
