Taking matters into your own hands
PlusUrbia’s Manuel de Lemos has taken it upon himself to propose changes to the urban built environment in his native Puerto Rico for the better.
As he mentioned in a Facebook post, the intersection at the Walmart in Santurce is a danger for pedestrians. He called upon applying Complete Streets design guidelines at the intersection to provide a better connection for residents in the community and provided the following sketch:
Raising awareness about matters like this can help bring about much needed change in our cities.
