Lake Songhua Resort features a thriving mixed-use town center, with ground-floor retail and housing above. PlusUrbia created the master plan and architectural design of the town center that serves as the nucleus of the large resort.
Located near Jilin in Northern China, the town center’s grand opening was held in early 2015.  The Deputy Secretary General of the China Ski Association praised the resort for having the best infrastructure and highest service standards of any ski resort in China. The town center features pedestrian-lined streets along a cluster of seven buildings. Condominium and hotel space occupies the upper floors of each building.  The main building houses the ski rental center, clubhouse, restaurant, and VIP room on its ground floor. The architectural style features a rustic look with wood, stone, and pitched roofs.
