Plusurbia was tasked to create a sustainable design for a new mixed-use building in the heart of the Wynwood Arts District.
To maximize the potential of this unique site as an anchor to the world-famous Wynwood Walls, we embraced the existing character. We developed an innovative concept focused on breaking down and re-configuring space and facade into a series of layered lattices.
The result is a building that grows from an inviting street frontage and park, seamlessly integrating into its surroundings, breaking down its scale through the layering of materials and recessed planes. This design provides an energy-efficient and visually stimulating environment for its street-level occupants and visitors.
