Plusurbia Design was tasked to investigate potential zoning changes to assembled properties totaling approximately 2.5 Acres and provide design concepts to explore the development of a future mixed-use building in Miami’s Design District vicinity.
The design proposes a high-rise above an active horizontal podium detailed with a juxtaposition of vertical facade details that tear down from the top floors. A publicly accessible amenity is envisioned above the podium, creating a food and beverage destination for the district.
