Costa Rica is the ecotourism destination of the Americas. It has incredible and well-preserved natural beauty, hospitable people, distinctive culture, and a friendly and safe reputation. It has brought about a sustained increase in the number of tourists and second–residence seekers it welcomes yearly.
Guanacaste combines tranquil beaches, spectacular shoreline views, interior tropical jungle, mountainous terrain and trekking, wildlife habitats, and access to Costa Rica’s famous national parks. All while within reach of new hospital facilities, such as the CIMA Hospital, and nearby towns with services, shopping, and restaurant and entertainment options, such as Playas del Coco, Flamingo, or Conchal.
The site is located in elevated terrain to the south of the village of Playa Panama, overlooking the waters of Bahía Culebra, 3km south of Playa Panamá Beach.
The site is 67 hectares (166 acres), roughly rectangular in size, and dominated by two long parallel ridges and a third ridge that peaks at one of the highest points in the area (160 m / 525 ft). The site’s topography provides good views of Bahía Culebra and the Gulf of Papagayo and inland toward the Sardinal plateau and the Tempisque river banks.
