The City of La Belle faces the challenge of balancing the demands of a dynamic market with the preservation of its historic downtown character. In this delicate balance, the allocation of land for growth becomes a pivotal consideration.
Plusurbia was commissioned to develop a master plan and propose a phased growth strategy that accommodates organic expansion beyond the urban core. The Master Plan successfully implements a gradual growth strategy by extending residential, commercial, and open spaces within the designated 237 acres. It enhances pedestrian and bike connectivity through a network of open spaces that interconnect various housing options with the town center.
Designed as a hybrid Town Center, this innovative concept allows established brands to meet their visibility requirements while seamlessly transitioning into a Main Street that connects with the surrounding neighborhood.
