Haitang Bay is a Master Planned Community that reconstructs the unique beauty of the natural environment back to its original state, creating a destination where the built and natural environments coexist.
Located at the mouth of the Queen Bay, connecting with the freshwater Tielugang lake, at the outskirts of Sanya, Hainan Island’s newest community resort and Sports Town will be the destination of marine tourism, the home of the National Sailing Team and the destination of nature addicts. It provides several beach resort hotels, one of the island’s largest marinas, and a residential and shopping district that will make it one of Hainan’s most unique waterfront destinations.
The planned resort rebuilds mangrove islands to protect them from tidal currents and filter ocean + river water to safeguard the ecosystem. It re-establishes the original tree canopy to mitigate typhoon-force winds and raises the built elevation to address the rising sea level.
New waterways created through the development improve water movement and offer additional frontage.
