Plusurbia Welcomes a New Cohort of Urban Design Interns
12/10/2025
Plusurbia is thrilled to welcome a team of talented interns who will work alongside our staff on ongoing planning and urban design initiatives. They will take a hands-on role in project production and contribute to research and analysis, including our ongoing historic preservation work. Their involvement strengthens our team and underscores our commitment to forward-thinking, visionary planning and design.
This year’s interns bring diverse backgrounds and perspectives:
Beau Clardy is a second-year master’s student in Clemson University’s City & Regional Planning program. With a background in History and Community Development, he enjoys city-building simulation games that deepen his understanding of urban systems.
Nic DePasquale studies Architecture at the University of Miami with a minor in Economics. He is fascinated by how design and markets shape the built environment.
Karla Fidalgo is a first-generation Cuban American studying Architecture and French at the University of Miami. She enjoys exploring cities to understand urban form and cultural context.
Jessica Hutchinson is an Architecture student from Austin, Texas, interested in how travel and exposure to different cityscapes inform design thinking.
We’re excited to have them on board and look forward to their contributions to Plusurbia’s projects and vision. Welcome to the team!
