Sunbeam Special Area Plan (SAP) is a vision for the project to create a new “Iconic” destination at the heart of North Bay Village sitting on the prow of Broadcast Key with vibrant mixed-use project consisting of multi-family residential, a hotel, office, restaurants, entertainment, retail, a marina and a small production studio, with civic space, public open space and the island walk. The project at the inflection point where the land meets the water will be where the people of North Bay Village, Miami and tourists can connect with the Bay. It is set to become a model of resiliency and sustainability, not just for the buildings but also for The Village Project. One of the most important goals is to provide a beneficial impact on the adjacent waters of Biscayne Bay while defending Broadcast Key from the corrosive and erosive action of those same waters.
